Or, if the purchase value of more than two issues. I've rarely heard something goes wrong with the dryer, maybe just getting to the washing machine?

Depending on the security ... Normally I'm not a fan of the extended warranty .. Most electronic devices more attractive to buy at the price. I bought one for my vacuum cleaner. Since it was a gift and I had a gap of one year and I had no carpet! It proved a wise investment ...! Within 5 years. I had a vacuum that would clean / 2x annually. This triple guarantee paid ...! I want to read the warranty and see what exactly is covered ... When I work offers Lowes ext. Guarantees for things many, many, that the manufacturer warranty, no ... Labor and parts, not just the parts ... Therefore, over and over again. Could be a good investment long term .... So if something happens to the washing machine and dryer repair, no problems ...
